Tyla Yaweh taps Post Malone for new song, “Tommy Lee”

A tribute to the Mötley Crüe drummer.

Tyla Yaweh and Post Malone have paid tribute to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee with a brand-new song named for him.

Produced by XL Eagle, Pearl Lion and RVNES, “Tommy Lee” features the rappers exchanging Auto-Tuned bars over skittering hi-hats and a rattling bassline. “Pull up with the drum like I’s Tommy Lee / Yaweh got a stick, came to rock with me / Milli’ on wrist, ain’t no rocks on me / I’m pretty as fuck, wanna copy me,” Posty rhymes.

“I just wanna thank my day one fans & true supporters. If it wasn’t for y’all I wouldn’t even be motivated to do this shit,” Tyla wrote on Instagram. “I wanna thank [Post Malone] for always having my back!! Just the beginning RAGER BØY COMING SOON!! LOVE Y’ALL 💕💕”

The song also received a Wolf Sauce-produced visual. In it, Tyla and Posty race through the mountains on massive four-wheelers, get drunk on cartons of beer and fire off rounds of ammunition.

“Tommy Lee” is the latest offering from Tyla, who released his debut studio album, Heart Full of Rage, last February. Meanwhile, Post recently announced that he was working on a “quarantine album.”
