Tyla Yaweh enlists YG for his new single, “I Think I Luv Her”

It dropped alongside “Understand Me.”

Rapper-singer Tyla Yaweh has returned with two brand-new singles: the YG-assisted “I Think I Luv Her” and the vulnerable “Understand Me.”

“I Think I Luv Her” is a high-energy banger that features Yaweh and YG trading raunchy bars over a sample of Kelis’ 2006 hit, “Bossy.” “Oh, she walking like a lick when she wobble it / Think I love that bitch when she really poppin’ it / Oh, I’m walking with a stick like I’m moppin’ it / Two toned on the tick, ain’t no toppin’ it,” Yaweh raps on the chorus.

Yaweh takes a different approach on “Understand Me.” The rapper gets into his feelings on the track while showing off his vocal chops on the chorus. “She said she cannot stand me / I take another bitch out to Miami / Think she know but she don’t understand me / I’m asking if she okay, are you, Annie?,” he sings, sneaking in a reference to Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Crinimal.”

Earlier this year, Yaweh dropped off his debut album, Heart Full of Rage. On the other hand, YG recently jumped on HER’s new song, “Slide.” Listen to the Yaweh’s singles below.
