Tyga goes on a wild “Vacation” in new music video

The rapper is also offering free vacations to frontline workers.

Tyga has returned with a video for his new single, “Vacation.”

The clip opens with the rapper chilling by the beach on an island paradise—which turns out to be an elaborate soundstage. It cuts to Tyga cruising through mountains in an old-school convertible, with a Marilyn Monroe impersonator by his side. The visual also includes shots of Tyga shooting hoops on a fiery court.

In conjunction with the single’s release, Tyga is also offering free vacations to healthcare workers on the frontlines of the pandemic and Black Lives Matter protesters. To qualify for the raffle, fans are required to text Tyga’s cell phone number provided in the video, and share their story.

“So many people have been suffering over the past six months. They’re working harder without any sort of break in sight. So, I wanted to help. That’s what we’re doing with Karisma [Hotels & Resorts],” Tyga said in a statement. “Right now, everyone deserves a vacation to recharge, stay healthy and relax. I hope we can celebrate together soon. For now, stay safe out there.”

In addition to the ten all-expenses paid Cancun vacations up for grabs, the Legendary rapper also contributed $25,000 each to the National Bail Out Fund and Aware-LA.
