Last Saturday, Tyga got into a small scuffle with a security guard after he got kicked out of Floyd Mayweather’s 42nd birthday party.
According to TMZ, which obtained footage of the altercation, the rapper had been arguing with another party attendee when a security guard dragged him by the neck out of the club. In the video below, Tyga is clearly flustered at being manhandled, yelling, “Alright bro! Chill out!”
Angered by the ambush, the rapper then tried to reach for his own bodyguard’s gun, but didn’t manage to grab the firearm. His crew quickly rushed outside to ease the tension before leading the rapper back to his car to leave the premises.
In an official statement, Mayweather’s representative confirmed that the fight had nothing to do with the boxer or his team. “The video that has been shared in the press and in the media of Tyga being escorted out of the venue was unfortunate and troubling,” it read. “Though we are unsure of what exactly caused the altercation, we are certain that Floyd Mayweather and TMT (Mayweather’s brand) were not involved. Tyga had arrived [at] the venue around 12.30 am, just ten minutes before being removed. Security took appropriate measures to de-escalate the situation and to do what was in the best interest of everyone’s safety.”
While it’s still unclear what sparked the beef between Tyga and the unknown partygoer, it seems like the rapper has made up with the security guard that threw him out of the club.
Yesterday, Tyga posted to his Instagram stories a group photo of him and the security guard, along with some friends, with the caption: “No rap cap. Real street shit. Sat down face 2 face & spoke, & turned it into some real men shit. All love. Back 2 the bag.”
Well, at least no one got hurt.
