Trippie Redd asks “What’s My Name?” on explicit new song

It’s set to appear on the rapper’s upcoming project.

Trippie Redd has teased the follow-up to November’s A Love Letter to You 3 with a brand-new song, “What’s My Name?”

Produced by Swiss beatmaker and Travis Scott’s frequent collaborator OZMusicProducer, “What’s My Name?” offers a slinky trap melody paired with Redd’s signature nonchalant flow. The track is brief (it barely hits the two-minute mark), but it gets its message across: The rapper’s a freak in the sheets, and even his neighbors know it. “She know she my slatt, you get whacked, yeah, she gonna bang / For me, for me yeah,” Redd boasts.

The song, which premiered on Christmas day, was released alongside a music video, directed by Wavy Lord. Filmed at Tory Lanez’s apartment, the clip features Redd and Lanez vibing to the beat around the house, from the living room to the balcony.

There’s no official word on when Redd’s new project will arrive, so in the meantime enjoy the video for “What’s My Name?” below:
