Travis Scott is set to debut a new song during Astronomical, an upcoming digital concert to be held within the world of the video game Fortnite.
Astronomical is described as an “other-worldly experience” which draws inspiration from the creations of Scott’s label Cactus Jack, Fortnite developer Epic Games said in a press statement. The concert will be held five times over the course of three days so fans across the world can catch the show at “whichever time fits your schedule best.”
The first show will be on April 23 for the Americas at 7pm ET. Astronomical then moves across the Atlantic for one performance on April 24 for the European Union and the Middle East (at 10am ET). It then wraps things up with three shows on April 25: one for Asia and Oceania (12am ET), as well as encores for both the EU and the Americas, at 11am ET and 6pm ET, respectively.
Alongside the Astronomical concert, Fortnite will also introduce several new in-game items inspired by the event. They include a Travis Scott skin, outfits and new emotes, available from April 21 onwards.
Players who attend the Astronomical event will also receive exclusives such as an Astroworld Cyclone Glider and two loading screens for free. More free gear can also be unlocked through in-game Astronomical challenges, which will arrive this Saturday.
The show is the second major in-game concert, following a virtual performance by Marshmello last February. On the other hand, Scott recently released Jackboys, a Cactus Jack showcase compilation.
