COVID-19 might have stuck a wrench in live music this year, but Travis Scott and his camp are already planning for 2021.
The Grammy-nominated rapper recently announced on social media that his annual Astroworld Festival will return to his hometown of Houston, Texas next year. “See you next year… at Astrofest,” reads a message from Scott, which was posted on Twitter. “Can’t wait to turn the fuck up! -T (Stay safe).”

Last year’s Astroworld Festival line-up featured Migos, Young Thug, Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, Pharrell, Marilyn Manson, Rosalía, DaBaby, Playboi Carti, Pop Smoke, Young Dolph and more. Scott, of course, will make his annual appearance at the 2021 edition, although the rest of the festival’s line-up hasn’t been announced.
The 2020 Astroworld Festival was initially scheduled to take place on November 9. The festival’s cancelation followed in the footsteps of Rolling Loud, Coachella, South By Southwest and others, all of which were scrapped due to the pandemic.
