Travis Scott makes biblical references in “Stop Trying to be God” video

Featuring Kylie Jenner, James Blake, and singing goats and sheep.

Travis Scott has just unveiled the visual for his track “Stop Trying to be God,” off his recent album, Astroworld. And let’s just say, it gets kinda bizarre and, err, biblical.

Under the creative direction of Dave Meyers—he’s also worked on Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left to Cry” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble”—the music video opens with the rapper strolling down a street with a herd of sheep, like it’s the most natural thing in the world.

As the clip continues, we see Scott engulfed in flames, people getting baptized at a water park and a monstrous beast. It ends with a scene reminiscent of the Nativity. There are also appearances by James Blake, a golden Kylie Jenner and a singing lamb. Like we said, weird.
