Travis Scott brings ‘Astroworld’ to ‘SNL’

John Mayer and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker backed him up on guitars.

After last week’s bizarre musical performances, it seems SNL chose to dial down the theatrics—but not the star power. Travis Scott was the show’s latest musical guest, performing three cuts off his hit album Astroworld with a heavyweight backing band.

John Mayer, Kevin Parker of Tame Impala and producer Mike Dean joined Scott for a medley of “Skeletons”—which Parker co-wrote and co-produced—and “Astrothunder,” the song Mayer worked on. Scott also performed “Sicko Mode” on the episode.
