Tory Lanez picks riches over romance on “Who Needs Love”

The latest cut off ‘New Toronto 3.’

Tory Lanez has shared “Who Needs Love,” another preview of his forthcoming mixtape New Toronto 3.

On the upbeat Play Piacco-produced track, the Canadian rapper lists the reasons he’s better off single and rolling in dough than being someone’s other half. “When I got these diamond VVS’s on my neckpiece / Big pointers all in my bezel, call it my bestie / I spent a hundred and thou’ and all countin’ / Money make me happy every time I count it / Who needs love, when I come around flexin’?” Lanez boasts on the chorus.

In a recent interview with NME, Lanez described his upcoming mixtape as “cold, but also motivational.” He said, “Sometimes you feel like you’ve got a dark cloud over your head and things aren’t going right for you, but if you put on this project then it’s gonna motivate you and make you feel like you’ve got to get up and do something.”
