Tobi Lou and Dreezy have teamed up on a romantic new single called “Okay.”
Over a breezy beat, the two Chicago rapper-singers swap playful lines about a newfound love. “Trippin’ off that Henny, got me feelin’ up my skirt / I can’t wait ’til you get out, so I can put you back to work / We was past friends, back then, sixteen like the verse / You been heavy on my mind but I ain’t wanna text you first,” Dreezy spits.
During his verse, Lou makes references to female musicians such as Missy Elliott, Gwen Stefani and Miley Cyrus. The Dilip and Matteo Woods-produced track is also the latest song to emerge from his forthcoming album, Parrish Blue.
Prior to “Okay,” the rapper dropped “Student Loans” and “Endorphins,” which are also expected to appear on the upcoming album. The LP was originally scheduled for an October release, but has since been postponed, although a new release date has yet to be announced.
