Tobe Nwigwe shares colorful video for “Father Figure”

Also featuring Black Thought and Royce Da 5’9”.

Tobe Nwigwe has delivered a video for his latest single, “Father Figure.”

The LaNell Grant-produced track features appearances by Royce Da 5’9” and Black Thought The visual treatment features the three rappers delivering their bars from an empty mansion, flanked by synchronized dancers.

“Before I had a pot to piss in or this diction / I envisioned every piece of fruit I brought into fruition,” Nwigwe rhymes. “I swear they’ll have my art in exhibitions in a minute / Not just a rapper to these rappers, I swear I’m they father figure.”


“Father Figure” is the latest cut from Nwigwe’s forthcoming project, Cincoriginals, following “Bozos” with Big KRIT and “Wildlings,” featuring EarthGang and Duckwrth. Cincoriginals will be released on December 13.
