Tkay Maidza takes us back to the ’90s in “Shook” MV

This video is out of this world.

Australian rapper Tkay Maidza has dropped a video for her new single, “Shook.”

The Jenna Marsh-directed visual evokes the ’90s with its fashion choices, including crop tops, baggy pants and bandana
headbands. On the song, Maidza channels Missy Elliott’s flow with bars about leaving fans and competitors alike “shook” with her talent.

“These men, yeah I got ’em all shook / Earthquake, yeah I got ’em all shook / I came, I don’t play by the book / Yeah I make the bands, yeah I got ‘em all shook / These men lookin’ at me all shook,” she raps on the chorus.

Earlier this month, Maiza revealed on Twitter that she will drop two EPs before her sophomore album, though release dates have been revealed. Last year, she enlisted JPEGMAFIA for her single “Awake.”
