Tierra Whack shares “Stuck,” a new song inspired by self-isolation

The track samples Alanis Morissette’s “Ironic.”

Tierra Whack has dedicated her new song, “Stuck,” to everyone going slightly stir-crazy while in self-isolation during the coronavirus pandemic.

The song samples Alanis Morissette’s 1996 hit “Ironic,” and arrived alongside a hilarious black-and-white clip of Whack sporting a blonde wig, trying to keep herself entertained while quarantined.

“I’m sick of being stuck in the house, I wanna go out now / I wanna get out now / We should go out now / Now is the time, I’ve been losing my mind / I wanna see what’s going on outside,” she sings while clawing at a window.

“Stuck” marks Whack’s first release of 2020. The track follows a long run of singles from last year, including “Unemployed,” “Wasteland” and “Gloria.” Her debut album, Whack World, arrived back in 2018.
