TI, Teyana Taylor enact justice in “You (Be There)” video

The pair hunt down sex offenders in Atlanta.

TI has teamed up with Teyana Taylor to release a moving and rightous video for “You (Be There).” The clip features the final two songs from TI’s Dime Trap LP: the Taylor-assisted “You” and “Be There” with London Jae.

Directed by Taylor, the poignant visual follows the duo as vigilantes pursuing sexual predators in their community. They infiltrate a church to take down a pastor who has been accused of child molestation, and free young women who are being held against their will in a remote warehouse.

In between their crime-fighting, the duo check into a motel, where they get intimate. But their private time is interrupted by screams coming from the room next to theirs. The pair intervene, saving a woman from being sexally assaulted by a dirty cop. However, Taylor is shot in the mayhem and succumbs to her injuries.

The video ends with a powerful message about sex trafficking in Tip’s home state: “Three thousand, six hundred minors are sold into sex slavery every year in the state of Georgia. One out of every ten sexual abuse survivors will never tell. Depending on the length/frequency of an abused child, the risk of suicidal behavior becomes greater.”

Dime Trap, which arrived last October, is TI’s latest album. Besides “You” and “Be There,” the record also features “The Amazing Mr F**k Up” and the Young Thug-assisted “The Weekend.”
