The Wu-Tang Clan are set to make their return with a new EP this Friday.
The project was inspired by and named after Of Mics and Men, a Showtime docu-series about the group which premiered on the cable network last week. The hip hop collective took to Twitter to announce their forthcoming release:
You've seen episode 1/ Wu documentary by now (and if you haven't, what were you doing last weekend), now listen to the music inspired by the series. On Friday, we're coming with a new Wu-Tang EP from @36ChambersALC and Mass Appeal, so let your boss know you'll be in late to work. pic.twitter.com/9tPXfDnWVv

Of Mics and Men will be the Wu-Tang Clan’s surviving members’ first release as a full group since 2015’s one-copy-exclusive Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. The hip hop collective also put out The Saga Continues in 2017, but under the moniker Wu-Tang as founding member U-God was not featured on the project.
