The Pink Panther stars in Madlib, Oh No’s “Big Whips” MV

From ‘Gangster Music Vol 1,’ out in March.

Come March, illustrator Gangster Doodles—real name Marlon Sassy—will release Gangster Music Vol 1, a compilation of tracks by rappers and beatmakers who inspire his work. One of those songs, “Big Whips” by Madlib and Oh No, has just gotten a quirky video starring the Pink Panther.

The breezy two-minute clip was engineered for “maximum levels of nostalgia,” Sassy told Complex, which premiered the video. The Panther leads the viewer through a melange of visuals that include snippets of a David Attenborough-narrated documentary, old rap clips and—somewhat anachronistically—Bhad Bhabie’s infamous “Cash me outside” quip on Dr Phil.

Gangster Music Vol 1 also includes contributions from Kaytranada, Quelle Chris, Father, Onra and more. Watch the video for “Big Whips” below:
