The Kid LAROI shares video for “Go,” featuring Juice WRLD

The Australian rapper honors his late friend and mentor.

Australian rapper The Kid LAROI has dropped a video for his new single, “Go,” which features his late friend and mentor, Juice WRLD.

The video opens with archival footage of Juice telling LAROI he’d give him a verse for free—what he called a $200,000 gift. It then cuts to the Aussie rapper delivering his bars while motorcyclists ride around him.

“Won’t let go, I’m the type to show you that you’re too special / Please don’t be the type to hate the things I do / And I’ll ride for you, and I’ll die for you / Homicide for you,” Juice raps on his brief verse.

“It’s been a little over six months since you been gone, and it still doesn’t feel right,” LAROI wrote of his friend’s passing in a press release. “Before we even met you were my favorite artist, and I still think every day how cool it was that I got to be damn near family with my idol. You took me all over the world on a fucking private jet and showed me a whole different side of life that not many people get to see.”

“From all the months you let me live at your crib, to all the nights I spent watching and learning from you in the studio, to all the concerts and tours I got to witness. I got to learn from a real life legend,” he continued. “It’s not even in my character to write long ass sh*t like this but f*ck it our song is about to come out and I just wanna say how much I wish you were here with me to enjoy this sh*t. We all love and miss you back here.”

Last month, Juice WRLD’s estate released “Tell Me U Luv Me,” a new posthumous song featuring Trippie Redd. He was also previously featured on a remix of YNW Melly’s “Suicidal.”
