The Kid LAROI, Justin Bieber drop visual for “Stay”

Time stands still for The Kid LAROI.

The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber have dropped a music video for the Australian rapper’s new single, “Stay.”

“I’d do the same thing I told you that I never would / I told you I’d change even I know I never could / I know that I can’t find nobody else as good as you / I need you to stay, need you to stay, hey,” LAROI belts on the track’s soaring chorus.

The Colin Tilley-directed visual features the rapper searching for a former lover as time stands still. Both artists deliver emotional performances while the people surrounding them appear suspended, with LAROI skipping through the streets and Bieber singing on a rooftop.

“Stay” is LAROI’s first original single of the year. Last year, The Kid LAROI released a deluxe ‘savage’ edition of his debut mixtape Fuck Love, which included the songs “Go,” “So Done,” and “Tragic.” Earlier this year, LAROI also covered Drake’s “Shot for Me” and collaborated with Miley Cyrus for a remix of his song “Without You.”

On the other hand, in March Bieber dropped a deluxe edition of his sixth studio album, Justice, which included singles “Anyone” and “Hold On.” He also released a surprise EP, Freedom, earlier on Easter. The singer also collaborated with DJ Khaled and 21 Savage on “Let it Go.”
