The Diplomats announce comeback album, ‘Diplomatic Ties’

The New York hip hop outfit also teased an upcoming track, “Sauce Boyz.”

It’s been quite a while since we last heard from The Diplomats. But the Harlem rap group—comprising Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey—are back with a brand-new album, Diplomatic Ties, due on Thanksgiving (November 22).

The record arrives 14 years after Dipset’s last LP, Diplomatic Immunity 2. To mark the announcement, Jones took to Instagram to share a snippet of their first single, “Sauce Boyz.” The song, which features longtime collaborators Heatmakerz on production, already sounds like banger with its infectious, mid-2000s East Coast vibe. “We’re just tryna be more diplomatic in certain situations,” Jimmy spits on the opening verse.

The Diplomats are also planning to host a comeback show to at the Apollo Theater in Harlem (where else?) on November 23. For more details, click here.
