Texas rapper Lil Loaded dead at 20

He had just celebrated his 2019 single “6locc 6a6y” going gold.

Rising Dallas rapper Lil Loaded has died. He was 20 years old.

The Dallas Medical Examiner has not yet confirmed his official cause of death, but the Texas rapper’s attorney told Billboard that he died by suicide.

Lil Loaded, real name Dashawn Maurice Robertson, was recently charged with manslaughter for the 2020 fatal shooting of Khalil Walker, and was expected to appear in court this week. The young rapper released his CRIPTAPE and A Demon in 6lue projects last year, after reaching viral fame in 2019 with the song “6locc 6a6y” and and signing a deal with Epic Records.


Just last week, “6locc 6a6y” was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. Loaded celebrated the milestone on Instagram, declaring his fans the “dopest fanbase on earth.”
