Tee Grizzley has shared his new album, Built For Whatever.
The 19-track LP boasts appearances from Quavo, Young Dolph, YNW Melly, Lil Durk, Lil Tjay and G Herbo; fellow Detroit natives Big Sean, Allstar Lee and Mu; his brother Baby Grizzley and a posthumous feature from the late King Von.
In a press release, Grizzley said the album’s title was inspired by his own life. “The title of this album is my whole life in one sentence,” the 27-year-old explained. “The songs on the album and the things I refer to lyrically on each track reflect pieces of my real life. The name of this album is exactly what I am—built for whatever.”
Built For Whatever marks the official follow-up to Grizzley’s 2020 project, The Smartest. The project arrived with a sobering video for “White Lows Off Designer,” featuring Lil Durk. Check it out below:
