Tee Grizzley, Big Sean live it up in “Trenches” MV

Taken off Grizzley’s ‘The Smartest’ mixtape.

Tee Grizzley and Big Sean have released a video for their latest collaboration, “Trenches,” from Grizzley’s The Smartest mixtape.

The lavish clip captures the Detroit rappers indulging in the high life, being served by butlers, chilling in a state-of-the-art gaming room and showing off their jewelry. Although Grizzley lives large in the clip, his life wasn’t always this glamorous, as the rapper explains in his lyrics.

“Yeah, I went to Cody and Dixon / Three dollars to my name, got a juice and a McChicken,” he spits. “Asked, ‘Am I happy with this money?’ Bitch, I’m happy to be livin’ / I was makin’ a sandwich, they started shootin’ through the kitchen / I got lower than a midget, bullets crashin’ through them dishes.”
