Swae Lee shares video for “Dance Like No One’s Watching”

He’d previously debuted the song at Rolling Loud’s virtual fest.

After debuting it live at the virtual edition of Rolling Loud last week, Swae Lee has finally released his new song, “Dance Like No One’s Watching,” on streaming platforms.

It dropped alongside a futuristic animated video featuring a giant Cyclops-looking Swae who watches over revelers on a dancefloor. They twerk along to the bass-heavy track while flying cars zoom past them. “Dance like no one’s watchin’ / Dance like no one’s watchin’ / I need someone non-toxic / The money, the bitches, the log in,” he rap-sings on the chorus.

“Dance Like No One’s Watching” is expected to appear on the Rae Sremmurd rapper’s forthcoming solo album Human Nature. “I wanted to drop [Human Nature in September], but I want to give [fans] this single that I’ve been working so hard on,” the Rae Sremmurd rapper told iHeartRadio’s J Cruz earlier this month. “Just gonna make everybody move. It’s some fun stuff. Good energy. Heavy 808… It’s my baby. I’m finna shock the world and connect all the dots.”

Swae added that he’s excited for fans to hear his forthcoming solo music: “Some people don’t really know Swae Lee, and let them get to know Swae Lee. They know Rae Sremmurd, you know, they got to get to know Swae Lee.”

An official release date for Human Nature has not yet been confirmed. Swae had previously dropped the tracks “Reality Check,” “Someone Said” and “Sextacy.”
