Swae Lee confirms his new solo album is “96% done”

The follow-up to 2018’s ‘Swaecation’ is on its way.

Swae Lee’s been pretty busy working on several features these past few months, but he’s now turning his attention back to solo efforts. His sophomore album is “96% done,” the rapper confirmed in a tweet on Tuesday.

This confirmation just comes a week after Swae hinted on social media that he was back in the studio and is in “full album mode.” The rapper’s longtime producer and label head, Mike Will Made-It, had announced in January that a new Swae album was on its way, although an official release date has not yet been set.

Swae—who makes up one-half of the sibling rap duo Rae Sremmurd—released his debut solo project Swaecation last year as part of the group’s SR3MM triple album. Since then, the rapper’s dropped a handful of collabs, including the hit “Sunflower” with Post Malone and a remix of Camila Cabello’s “Real Friends.” He also recently jumped on Madonna’s new single, “Crave.”
