DJ Khaled is back with his latest, star-studded album, Khaled Khaled.
The multi-platinum producer wowed fans earlier in the week when he revealed Jay-Z, Nas, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, Post Malone, DaBaby, HER, P Diddy, Migos, Drake and more would appear on his 12th studio effort. Just hours before releasing the album, though, Khaled updated its tracklist to include one more song with Cardi B.
“UPDATED TRACKLISTING ALERT!! CARDI B VOCALS IS IN!! ALBUM 101% DONE!!!!” he posted on Instagram.
The Khaled Khaled cover art features the Miami hitmaker’s two sons, similar to his family-oriented artwork for his previous album, 2019’s Father of Asahd. The album’s title also holds significance, as the producer told Billboard it translates to “immortal” in Arabic—what he takes as testament to his lasting fame.
“I always wanted to make an album called Khaled Khaled, even before I made my first album, but I knew it had to come at a certain time… I figured I had to get past ten albums,” he told the publication. “After you make ten albums, you’re great.”
The record also features Megan Thee Stallion on “I Did it,” which Khaled likened to his 2010 smash-hit, “All I Do is Win.” He also gushed over Roddy Ricch’s verse on “Body in Motion,” telling Billboard, “We ended up making something incredible.”
Khaled Khaled also arrived with a music video for “Sorry Not Sorry,” which features Jay-Z and Nas as well as James Fauntleroy and harmonies by The Hive (not to mention a vocal snippet from Beyoncé). Khaled and the two New York titans puff on cigars and gamble in the extravagant video.
