British rapper Stormzy recently made his US television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with “Crown.”

Stormzy kicked off his performance with soulful vocals, backed up by sparse piano chords, before jumping into rapid-fire rhymes. “That’s not anti-white, it’s pro-black / Hang me out to dry, I won’t crack / All these fancy ties and gold plaques / Never had no silver spoons in our mouths, we sold, like,” he rapped, supported by a live band and a six-person choir.

The performance comes ahead of Stormzy’s forthcoming world tour, which includes shows in North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Africa. It kicks off in Brussels, Belgium on February 10.

“Crown” appears on Stormzy’s sophomore album, Heavy is the Head, which also features “Do Better,” “Vossi Bop” and “Own it,” featuring Ed Sheeran and Burna Boy.
