Spotify releases two posthumous Mac Miller singles

The rapper recorded the songs during a Spotify Singles session.

Spotify has shared two Mac Miller songs from its Spotify Singles live recording session with the late rapper.

First up is a dreamy yet emotional piano-only version of “Dunno,” a cut from Miller’s latest album, Swimming. Over gentle keys, he croons about a tender relationship: “Let’s get lost inside the clouds / And you, you don’t gotta work harder / I can calm you down.”

Miller also covered Billy Preston’s “Nothing from Nothing.” It’s a mellow, soulful take on the uptempo 1974 hit, featuring only an electric piano. “Nothin’ from nothin’ leaves nothin’ / You gotta have somethin’ if you wanna be with me,” the rapper sings on the chorus. The simple arrangement allowed the Pittsburgh native to showcase his vocal chops, proving he had all the talent in the bag.
