Snoop Dogg jumps on Higher Brothers’ “Friends & Foes”

For the soundtrack of Netflix’s ‘Wu Assassins.’

88rising’s Higher Brothers have linked up with Snoop Dogg on “Friends & Foes,” a new single for the upcoming Netflix series Wu Assassins.

Snoop opens up the track with his signature laid-back swagger over a bass-heavy beat provided by Josh Pan. “Higher Brothers, dog pound, we up in Chinatown / Few  friends with many foes, all cons and no pros / No rules so anything goes, kick back, sit back and enjoy another episode,” he raps. The Chengdu collective then jump in, laying down hard-hitting verses in Chinese, with some English lines sprinkled in for good measure.

A snippet of “Friends & Foes” first appeared in a trailer for Wu Assassins, which premieres August 8. Higher Brothers previously teamed up with Schoolboy Q on “Won’t Believe,” a cut from their sophomore album, Five Stars. Snoop, on the other hand, recently dropped the Swizz Beatz-assisted “Countdown.”
