slowthai broods in new music video for “adhd”

A cut from ‘TYRON.’

slowthai has dropped a music video for “adhd,” a track from his recently released album sophomore TYRON.

The video, which appears to have been shot in one take, opens with a wide angle on a scene of the British rapper in a skyscraper at night, angstily pacing and smoking in front of a nighttime cityscape—a calm scene that only serves to emphasize slowthai’s inner turmoil.

“adhd” is the latest TYRON track to get the visual treatment, following “Vex,” “Cancelled” featuring Skepta and “Mazza” featuring A$AP Rocky. The British rapper dropped TYRON, the follow-up to his acclaimed 2019 debut Nothing Great About Britain, on February 12.

The album went to number one in the UK just over a week later, and slowthai dedicated the chart win to “anyone in a dark place,” per NME.
