Slipknot’s Corey Taylor raps with Kid Bookie on “Stuck in My Ways”

Bookie shot his shot on Twitter—and it worked.

This must be a dream come true for British rapper Kid Bookie: Corey Taylor of Slipknot, one of his musical idols, contributed a verse to a rework of his song “Stuck in My Ways.”

The unlikely collaboration was first seeded on Twitter in February, when Kid Bookie—a Slipknot fan—tweeted at Taylor, “I gotta work with you before both of us leave this earth.” Taylor replied, “Let’s talk, my friend.” Just a week later, Bookie confirmed the collaboration:

Now, a month later, the duo have delivered a rework of “Stuck in My Ways,” which first appeared on Bookie’s 2018 Shake Up EP. How well does Taylor rap? Hear his verse for yourself:
