Slick Rick has made his music comeback with an epic video for two songs, “Can’t Dance to a Track that Ain’t Got No Soul” and “Midas Touch.” These tracks are the rap icon’s first original music since 1999’s The Art of Storytelling.

The clip opens with Rick visiting music executives with his manager, played by Black-ish’s Miles Brown. It then transitions to a neon-lit club that plays “Midas Touch.” The visual also features cameos by World of Dance champion Kida the Great, MC Lyte, French Montana, YoYo and DJ Kaos.

“Music and art is about what moves you and connects to your spirit,” Rick told Hypebeast. “This mini-project is all about self-expression, inspiration versus pressure and being true to thy self. In life, it’s all about what resonates to the very inner fibers of our existence.”

The British-American rapper previously made appearances in videos for Nas’ “Cops Shot the Kid” and Montana’s “No Stylist,” featuring Drake. Last year, Rick also contributed a verse to Mariah Carey’s “Giving Me Life,” from her Caution album, which was his first guest verse since his appearance on 2015’s “Who U?” by Dynas & Tony Galvin.
