Rylo Rodriguez samples Billie Eilish on new single, “No Apologies”

It opens with a sped-up version of her 2016 hit “Ocean Eyes.”

Rylo Rodriguez has shared his new single, “No Apologies.”

The slow-burning track starts with a sped-up sample of Billie Eilish’s 2016 hit “Ocean Eyes” before segueing into the rapper’s rapid-fire verses. The accompanying clip, directed by Killer Jack, featured Rodriguez pacing through his sprawling Florida estate as he assesses the aftermath of a raging house party.

“Fuck the judge, fuck the police / Fuck the picture, I won’t cop out / Public housing, a hunnid thousand on a new school, now I’mma drop out / Million dollars, needy ho stay in the hood, she blow the stop light / I watched the street take n***as out, and clutchin’ pistols on the ride-around,” he spits.
