Roy Woods shares video for his new song, “Shot Again”

The OVO Sound signee’s first single of 2020.

Roy Woods has released his first single of the year, “Shot Again,” which arrived alongside a video.

Over a delicate instrumental, produced by SLMN, and Prezident Jeff, the Canadian singer unloads his burdens. “Think I need a shot again / Cause I got a lot of problems that I can’t let you know / So I think I need a shot again / Someone get the bartender, let me bring ’em to my booth,” Woods croons on the song’s chorus.

The accompanying visual features Woods in a smoke-filled bar, as he stares at a miniature version of himself that’s trapped inside of a shot glass. Elsewhere, he drives a small remote-controlled car and dances under strobing lights.
