Roy Woods loosens up on club-ready anthem, “Bubbly”

“We all need to let go and let loose sometimes.”

Roy Woods has returned with an upbeat new single titled “Bubbly.”

On the celebratory anthem, the OVO Sound artist drops bars about hitting the club and popping bottles of—you guessed it—bubbly. “See you shinin’ on your own, fuckin’ up the club / Heard Summer’s comin’, when it’s time, you fuckin’ up the club / Bounce that ass, girl, you know you fuckin’ up the club / We poppin’ bottles of bubbly,” he raps over the bouncy beat courtesy of producer and frequent Tory Lanez collaborator Daniel Worthy.

“There’s music for all types of moods and feelings we go through everyday. With this new song ‘Bubbly,’ I want people to feel good about themselves,” Woods in a statement. “Whether celebrating a birthday, having drinks with friends or just enjoying yourself after a long school or work week. We all need to let go and let loose sometimes.”

“Bubbly” is Woods’ follow-up to his February single “Worth it.” The rapper is currently working on his as-yet-untitled sophomore album.
