Roddy Ricch, A Boogie wit da Hoodie unveil “Tip Toe” MV

Ricch’s debut album, ‘Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial,’ arrives next month.

Roddy Ricch has dropped a fantastical video for his new single “Tip Toe,” featuring A Boogie wit da Hoodie.

In the Christian Breslauer-directed video, Ricch gains the ability to transform metal into prized possessions. He turns metal chains into a luxury car and a watch into a set of diamond-encrusted grills. “Bought the strap, playing give and go / Serving junkies out the window / Tried to rob us, got extendo / We ain’t playing no pretendo,” he spits.

“When [A Boogie and I] first met each other, it was more so just [a] conversation to understand where each other was from, understanding his perspective on how he was raised and what he was brought up doing,” Ricch told Beat 1’s Zane Lowe about how the collaboration happened. “He just got to hear a little bit of what I got into, and we just had a bond over that. And then it kind of just grew from that.”

“Tip Toe” appears on Ricch’s forthcoming debut album, Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial. The record, due out December 6, will also feature contributions from Meek Mill and Ty Dolla $ign.
