Rico Nasty flexes in her video for new song, “Lightning”

She’s unfazed by her haters.

Rico Nasty has dropped a new song titled “Lightning,” with a braggadocious video to match.

In the clip, the characteristically fashion-forward rapper raps from her Tesla, stacks of cash in hand—which she flings into the air throughout the song’s runtime.

“They say they don’t like me,” Rico sneers on the hook. “Bank account look frightening / Bank account look lightning / Lightning come and strike me if I’m lying.”

“Lightning” was produced by Internet Money, who’s also worked on songs such as Rich the Kid’s “Plug Walk,” Juice WRLD’s “Lucid Dreams” and Drake’s Scorpion cut “Blue Tint.”

After a run of several mixtapes—including her full-length collaboration with producer Kenny Beats, Anger Management—Rico is expected to drop her debut album soon. She most recently appeared on a remix of 100 gecs’ “Ringtone” alongside Charli XCX and Kero Kero Bonito, and collaborated with Boys Noize on “Girl Crush.” Prior to “Lightning,” Rico’s last solo track was January’s “IDGAF.”
