Rico Nasty drops triumphant new single, “Time Flies”

She switches things up with a trap-heavy beat.

Rico Nasty is back with a fresh song titled “Time Flies,” her first release since Anger Management, her joint project with Kenny Beats.

On the optimistic track, the rising rapper reflects on her achievements and wonders about her future. Rico shows off her vocal versatility over a trap-tinged beat: “I don’t wanna be on the ground when the time flies / Had so many friends going, ‘Wonder when it’s my time’ / I live everyday like I’ll die by the night time / It took me so long getting back to my right mind.”

“Time Flies” was recorded for the soundtrack of EA’s Madden FNL 20 video game, which also features Denzel Curry and Tate Kobang’s new song, “Shawshank.” Rico was recently inducted into XXL’s Freshman Class of 2019, alongside Blueface and Megan Thee Stallion, among others.
