Rich Brian recruits Guapdad 4000 for new collab, “Bali”

“At the end of the day all that matters is love.”

Rich Brian returns with his first single of the year, “Bali,” featuring Guapdad 4000.

On the upbeat track, Brian celebrates his newfound wealth but remembers what’s truly important. “I don’t never stress none of that shit from yesterday / At nine, I got a date, told her that she could pick the place / Don’t tell me we’re the same, little bitch, this is night and day / I thought we was in Bali, shit feel like holidays,” he spits.

Later, Guapdad jumps in with a raunchy verse: “Who be on my peepee, ruby on my pinky, yeah / She be sleepy, I be creepin’, secret keepin’ / Stripper peepin’, money sweepin’ / Then we leavin’, back to thievin’.”

“This song touches on battling against the social construct and not letting the capitalism in this generation make you feel like you have to stress yourself to reach a certain level of status by working so much that you lose touch of everything else in life,” Brian said in a press release. “The simple things that create happiness, friends, family, love, at the end of the day all that matters is love.”

The track follows Brian’s 2019 album, The Sailor, which featured the likes of RZA, Bekon and labelmate Joji. Last month, the rapper dropped a freestyle of the Teriyaki Boyz’s 2006 song “Tokyo Drift (Fast & Furious).”
