Five years ago, Redman told fans the sequel to Muddy Waters would come soon. Last year, the hip hop icon shared an Instagram video of him in a studio listening to what are presumably raw mixes of the record. Nothing came out of either tease, but here’s hoping third time’s the charm.
In a tweet Saturday, the rapper posted a promotional image of Muddy Waters Too, with the caption, “WUZZZAAAAAPPPPP! THE BEGINNING!! NO TALKN!!” And that’s it. No release date, nothing. But it was enough to get fans excited all over again. So c’mon, Funk Doctor—put it out already.
