Reason unveils new song, “Might Not Make it”

As part of Top Dawg Entertainment’s fan appreciation week.

Top Dawg Entertainment signee Reason has released his first new song of 2020, “Might Not Make it.”

The rapper packs the song with cultural references, ranging from Rihanna and the Kardashians to the comic book character Ghost Rider. “If I only had twenty-four, I’d be harassin’ the youth / Kidnap Trump and Ghost Rider and let ’em crash in the coupe / I’d have sex with Laurie, Rihanna, a Kardashian too / Might just fuck everybody like Kardashians do,” he spits.

The tune arrived as part of Top Dawg Entertainment’s ongoing fan appreciation week, following releases from Isaiah Rashad, Zacari and Ab-Soul. Last year, Reason and Ab-Soul collaborated on the song “Flick it Up.”
