A posthumous album by Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh, titled In Bank We Trust, has been released to mark the four-year anniversary of his death.
The record was announced a year after Fresh was shot dead in Atlanta on March 4, 2016, but its release date was confirmed only earlier this week to XXL by Fresh’s mother Terisa Price. She revealed that the three-year delay stemmed from the process of clearing features for the 12-track project.
“It’s timing. There’s a time for everything,” Price—who said she was “very involved” in putting the album together—told XXL. “There was a time when we was trying to put it [out] three years ago, it was we had a lot of other artists that were on the album, and we had to get a lot of clearances. Just trying to get everything right.”
In Bank We Trust includes appearances by Boosie BadAzz, Street Money Boochie, Countup JT, Quicktrip and Que. Production was handled by D Rich, Drum Section, Shawty Fresh, G Money and Jayell.
