Post Malone releases Young Thug collab, “Goodbyes”

Post Malone has shared “Goodbyes,” his latest collab with Young Thug.

Over a mellow, trap-inspired beat, Posty and Thugger describe their struggles to leave former flames behind. “Say you needed this heart, then you got it / Turns out that it wasn’t what you wanted / And we wouldn’t let go and we lost it / Now I’m a goner,” Post sings before Thugger swoops in with an emotional verse of his own. The song arrived alongside a Colin Tilley-directed video, starring Post as a man who rises from the dead to find his way back to an ex-girlfriend.

“Goodbyes” marks Post’s first solo offering of the year. In March, he dropped a remix with Tyga and Roddy Ricch for his 2018 single, “Wow.” Thug, on the other hand, recently dropped “The London,” an infectious collab with Travis Scott and J Cole.
