Pooh Shiesty announces debut mixtape with “Guard Up”

‘Shiesty Season’ arrives next month.

Pooh Shiesty has announced his debut mixtape, Shiesty Season, with a new single called “Guard Up.”

The Memphis rapper delivers aggressive bars on the TP808-produced track, which arrived alongside a video that captures him lounging poolside with beautiful ladies. “I just crossed another n***a over, tell ’em, ‘Guard up’ / Double tap the button up on the key, the car gon’ start up / I lost some members at a early age, it left me scarred up / Chopper gang, the bands and sticks and drums when we march up,” he spits.

“Guard Up” is the second taste of Shiesty Season, following “Black in Blood” with Lil Durk. The forthcoming debut mixtape is set to arrive on February 5 via Gucci Mane’s The New 1017 imprint.

Last year, Shiesty teamed up with Gucci for “Still Remember.” The rapper also appeared on So Icy Gang, Vol 1, a compilation album from The New 1017.
