Polo G heads home in video for “Heartless,” featuring Mustard

Filmed in the rapper’s hometown of Chicago.

Polo G has chased his debut album, Die a Legend, with a new Mustard-produced single titled “Heartless.” It arrived alongside a video that was filmed in the rapper’s hometown of Chicago.

Directed by frequent collaborator Ryan Lynch, the clip follows Polo G as he performs the song in different locations around the city, including a park, a house party and public housing blocks. “My youngin’s heartless, so they ain’t playin’ no games / We really want ’em dead, he got hit up close range / He fucked up in the head, he wanna see some mo’ brains / On that corner, I can’t stay up out that dope gang,” he raps on the chorus.

“Heartless” is Polo G’s first new release since releasing his acclaimed Die a Legend LP. The record features tracks such as “Effortless” and the Billboard Hot 100 hit “Pop Out,” featuring Lil Tjay.
