Polo G flexes in new music video for “Toxic”

Another visual from ‘Hall of Fame.’

Polo G is back with a video for “Toxic.”

Over emotional keys and hard-hitting beats, Polo raps about his struggles choosing between street life and his relationships. Polo chooses the streets, and in the video shot by Ryan Lynch, he appears with his community, flexing cars, cash and chains.

In one particular verse, the Chicago rapper pays tribute to his friend, the late Juice WRLD: “Legends never die, you the reason I stopped poppin’ Percs,” he raps.

“Toxic” taken from Polo G’s third album, Hall of Fame. This clip followed last month’s visuals for album cuts “Party Lyfe” and “Painting Pictures,” and earlier videos for “Rapstar”, “GNF (OKOKOK),” “Epidemic” and “Gang Gang.” Recently, the rapper also performed “So Real” on the The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Polo G dropped Hall of Fame on June 11, recruiting a guestlist that included Nicki Minaj, Roddy Ricch, DaBaby, Young Thug and more. The follow-up to 2020’s The Goat and his 2019 debut Die a Legend, the record was the Chicago rapper’s first number one album on the Billboard 200.
