Pa Salieu, slowthai collide on new single “Glidin’”

The two British rappers have also dropped a wild video.

British rappers Pa Salieu and slowthai have shared their new collaboration, “Glidin’.”

The duo swap frenzied verses over co-production by WhYJay and LiTek and also team up for an equally haphazard music video. In the clip, which was directed by KC Locke, slowthai and Salieu rap from a padded asylum cell, annihilate a piñata and appear in a trippy, back-lit room. In another scene, giant versions of the rappers make tea, while their miniature selves make it rain at a strip club.

“Can’t be arsed, don’t get stressed / Just look to the sky and say, ‘Nah, I’m blessed’ / It’s a eye for a eye and I ain’t blind yet/ And I’m coming from a place where they don’t give a –” slowthai spits.

For slowthai, “Glidin’” follows up his sophomore album, TYRON. The rapper collaborated with several artists for the effort, including Skepta, Denzel Curry, Dominic Fike, James Blake, A$AP Rocky and more. Meanwhile “Glidin’” marks Pa Salieu’s second single of the year, after his February mash-up with Ghetts and BackRoad Gee, “No Mercy.”
