OMB Peezy recruits TI for “I’m Straight” MV

The ‘Preacher of the Streets’ cut gets a visual.

OMB Peezy has dropped a video for “I’m Straight,” the TI-assisted standout from his Preacher of the Streets mixtape.

The clip opens with a scene of Peezy’s 2017 interview with VladTV, where he talks about the hate musicians receive from their hometown. The video then jumps to Peezy and TI performing the song, intercut with stock footage that shows negative coverage of their careers by the media. “Ayy, you can take the fame and the clothes / The diamonds and the gold / All I need is a bankroll / Drop me off on a corner and I’m straight,” goes the chorus.

“I made this song to explain to people my point of view when it comes to materialistic things making you who you are,” Peezy told Complex. ”Without all these things I’ll be straight.”
