Oddisee drops new single, “No Trouble”

From Mellow Music Group’s upcoming compilation album, ‘Bushido.’

Oddisee has released his first single of the year, “No Trouble.”

The Mellow Music Group rapper combines his signature jazz melodies with clever wordplay on the self-produced track. “I’m a whole vibe, drivin’ is my weakness / Even at my lowest, that your eyes couldn’t peep this / I’m the sole survivor in a climate full of leeches / You get me steps to climb, I redesign, I made some bleachers,” he spits.

“No Trouble” is one of two Oddisee songs that will appear on Mellow Music Group’s upcoming compilation album, Bushido. The album is expected to arrive next month and will also feature Open Mike Eagle, Quelle Chris, Homeboy Sandman, Kool Keith and more.

Last year, Oddisee dropped his Odd Cure EP. Meanwhile, Bushido will mark Mellow Music’s first label compilation project in six years, following 2015’s Persona.
