Nicki Minaj’s 2009 mixtape ‘Beam Me Up Scotty’ now streaming

With new tracks featuring Drake and Lil Wayne.

Nicki Minaj’s breakout 2009 mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty, hit streaming services for the first time today (May 14) with an expanded 23-track tracklist.

The mixtape now features new tracks, including contributions from Drake and Lil Wayne on the track “Seeing Green,” as well as “Fractions,” her first solo track since last year’s “Yikes.” The expanded mixtape also has a remix of Skillibeng’s “Crocodile Teeth.”

The release was announced on a livestream the rapper held on Instagram on Thursday night (May 13). This came following Minaj’s return to social media on Monday, where the rapper posted a picture of her in pink Crocs on Instagram, simply captioned “Friday.”

The post reportedly led to a Crocs sales spike, which crashed the footwear brand’s official sites, according to Page Six.

The rapper recently scored a number one hit with her appearance on a remix of Doja Cat’s “Say So”, while her 2020 schedule was full of notable guest appearances, including features on tracks by A$AP Ferg, Ty Dolla $ign, Sada Baby, and Mike Will Made-It.

This activity came despite Minaj announcing on Twitter in 2019 that she was “retiring” to start a family. Last October, the rapper welcomed her first child with her husband Kenneth Petty.
